Our legacy
since 1996
Tender Care Junior Academy’s legacy is one of vision, growth, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Founded in 1996 with just seven learners, the school grew through dedication, trust from the community, and a deep passion for nurturing young minds. Over the years, Tender Care expanded across multiple campuses, produced top-performing learners in national examinations, and earned a strong reputation for quality early childhood and primary education.
Even as the school entered a new chapter through strategic partnerships and consolidation, its core values remained unchanged. Today, Tender Care Junior Academy continues to stand as a symbol of resilience, academic excellence, and holistic child development—shaping confident learners and positively impacting generations of families.
Tender Care Junior Academy was established in 1996 by Mr. Evanson Rwara Kahoro and Tr. Ruth Wambui Rwara in the heart of Komarock. With only seven children at the start, the school quickly earned a reputation for excellence in early childhood education, steadily growing through dedication, word of mouth, and a commitment to nurturing young minds.
